In Depth Discussion Rules
(NOTE: Accounts that are banned multiple times – five or more – will then receive a ban of three months. Upon return after the three months, if a reason for banning occurs again, the account will be IP banned and the username will be banned permanently.)

Debate Rules
When posting in the debate section of the In Depth Discussion forum, keep in mind that you must post at least a paragraph of four sentences. One word or one line replies are not sufficient length with which to state a rebuttal or an agreement with either party of the debate.
Also keep in mind not to bash either party in the debate for aligning one way or the other. People are allowed their own beliefs, and knowing what other people think and how other people think is a good way to develop as a person. Just because you don’t agree is no reason to take a debate and create an argument.
Anyone attempting to create an argument in the debate section will be warned and their post will be deleted. If this kind of negative behavior continues, the account will be banned for a duration of three days. If the behavior still persists the account will be banned for one week followed by a month more for any continued negative activity in the debate section.
Rant Rules
When posting in the rant section of the In Depth Discussion forum, keep in mind that you should not post an excessive amount of swear words, and you should not post any threats to anyone, whether or not I know them. It does not matter if the threats are false or not, if the person will ever see them or not, you just should not post such things here, or anywhere.
Please keep in mind that some members may be as young as twelve or thirteen, and we need to try and keep these writings of our anger at a level where they can read them and be comfortable. No one here knows how they were raised, what they are okay with, and / or what their parents are okay with – assuming that their parents may check what sites they go on online. So be mature, and acknowledge that some things shouldn’t be seen by them.
Please note that any overly negative behavior in the rant section will result in a warning to the account and a deletion of any and all overly negative posts made by the account. If this persists the account will be banned for two days. If the negative activity is still not stopped in the rant section of the forums, the account will be banned for one week, and then one month if behavior of this caliber continues.
Forum Suggestions Rules
When posting in the forum suggestion section of the In Depth Discussion forum, keep in mind that you should not bash any part of the forum that is currently in place. I have had a number of forums, and I am still learning. Bashing and flaming is not the way to help me learn. Critique and suggestions are.
Also, keep in mind to be patient if a moderator or I don’t reply in a “timely manner”. We have lives, and we need to tend to them. Be patient. Your suggestions will be read, commented on, and maybe even put into play.
Homework Help Rules
When posting in the homework help section of the In Depth Discussion forum, keep in mind that anyone who posts a reply will not give you the answer. If an answer is given up front, the post will be deleted and a warning will be given to the account. That is not the way to help with homework. A user can just as easily create their own problem or example to explain the problem given.
If answers are still being given up front after the warning, the account will be banned for two days, one week, and then one month – the extended bans being based on if the answers being given persists.

Do not over use any swear words on my forum. For more information, visit the Language section in User Account Rules.
Do not use derogatory names when referring to any member or staff of my forum. I’ve heard enough derogatory names in my life used when talking about me, and I don’t need to see anyone else hurt by them.
If someone tells you that a certain word that you’ve used bothers them, cut down using it when replying to their posts. Have some self-restraint and some respect towards others. Cutting down using words that hurt someone, even if it’s just one person, isn’t going to hurt you any.
If I see anyone abusing derogatory words, a warning will be given to the account. If the warning doesn’t work, the account will be banned for two days. If this persists, the account will be banned for one week, and if the language continues, one month.

Forum Suggestions and Homework Help Rules
I had better not see any picture replies in any of these sections except for maybe the forum suggestions or homework help sections. Please don’t post more than one picture per post. Too many pictures on one page causes lag, and may even crash some computers.
When you post a picture, I want to see at least one full sentence with the picture, and that’s very minimal. I also want the pictures to be appropriate. If any pornographic, overly violent, or gory pictures are posted, the account will be banned for a week. If the occurrence happens again, the account will be banned for a month.

Debate and Homework Help Rules
When debating, you may research some of your information so that you can give a better rebuttal. I’m not going to be a site or book sourcing Nazi, but I would greatly advise – and appreciate – you to give me a title of the book, article, and / or website that you used. If you used a web source, please link the source.
You may also find that you want to help someone with their homework, but you’re not completely sure how to help them yourself, or how to word what you want to explain. Because of this, maybe you look at your textbook, notes, or a website. If you do so, and you give information directly from any of these places, please give the title or a link.
